July 15, 2011The Dark Star Orchestra show originally scheduled for 7/20 at Paper Mill Island has been moved to The Westcott Theater. All tickets that were purchased for the Paper Mill Island show will be honored at this show. Please spread the word.

THE BREW RESCHEDULED TO APRIL 14 DUE TO WEATHER
February 03, 2011Unfortunately, the weather has caused another show cancellation, stranding The Brew in New England.They are all fine, just stuck. The show has been rescheduled for April 14 2011. All tickets can be refunded at the point of purchase or will be honored at the April 14th show; if the tickets were purchased online,refunds will occur automatically. Check out the snow that trapped The Brew in the picture on the Facebook group page. They tried to get to play for everyone, but sometimes you just can't get past the snow!
MICKEY FACTZ CANCELED
January 31, 2011Unfortunately, we were just informed today that the Mickey Factz show has been canceled. We were really looking forward to this show, but due to the artists schedule they will no longer be coming to our location. Anyone that has purchased tickets in advance can receive refunds through the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online will be refunded to the card used to purchase the tickets. If anyone has any questions regarding refunds, please email thewestcottpress@gmail.com. Check out our other great shows coming up, especially Two Fresh!
IMPORTANT ADEMA ANNOUNCEMENT!
January 30, 2011Due to circumstances at ADEMA’s show in Hartford last night, they will not be able to play in Syracuse tonight. The four local bands, Augustine, Feeding Affliction, Born Again Rebels, and Nine Round will still be performing a special local showcase. GENTLEMAN NO LONGER ON SOJA DATE
January 11, 2011Due to non-shiftable commitments in Europe, Gentleman will not be able to perform at this event. Statement from Gentleman:
"To all of my fans on the East Coast:
I am very sorry that I will not be able to perform at the SOJA shows in the Winter of 2011. After playing a very successful European tour with them last year, we were really looking forward to being on stage with SOJA again, but unfortunately, it is not possible at this time.
I kindly ask for your understanding. We are working hard on new tour dates with SOJA for later this year.

After 33 years.…over 4500 live shows….and a dozen albums.…legendary New Orleans rockers The Radiators are finally calling it quits. The band has officially decided to break up in mid-June following their final tour which will include one last New Years’ Eve run, a MOMs Ball and also headlining their final appearance at The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The band will honor all dates already on their schedule and are planning to add as many shows as possible before ending their storied 33 year career. The guys want to whole-heartedly thank their long time fans for making this ride as amazing as it has been. They truly feel that their fans are the best and most dedicated in the world and have kept their traveling circus alive. Individual band members will announce their plans in the near future.
